Class Experience
This on-site painting workshop will celebrate the life and legacy of Montana’s own Isabelle Johnson. We will meet on location at her family’s sheep farm, now home to Tippet Rise Art Center. Bring your own lunch, plenty of water and head out for a day of artistic development under the direction of Plein Air artist Jerry Inman. Learn to paint like a true legend inspired by this amazing landscape.
What To Bring
French easel or prochade box
Two 9 X 12 or 8 X 10 canvases or linen panels (lightly sand the primed panels)
Gamsol paint thinner.
Medium pointed palette knife
2 #6 Bristle flats
Colors:
Titanium Zinc White (Gamblin)
Hansa Yellow (Gamblin)

Permanent Green Light (Rembrandt)
