Description
Welcome to the Sandbox, where YAT's youngest actors find their voices!
Kindergarten through 3rd grade students will work with YAT Executive Director Justin Wade to build an original play starring your young actor! Be prepared for a high-energy class where we'll focus on confidence, creativity, and discipline.
Please note that this is a morning camp that meets in-person at YAT's rehearsal location at Central State.
Summer camp eligibility is based on a student's "rising" grade (ie the grade they will enter in Fall 2021)
As usual for YAT classes, students are expected to come dressed comfortably, with long hair pulled back and clothes that let them move around easily.
Some things are different during COVID-19: Students will be asked to wear masks during every class, and water bottles should be clearly labelled with the student's name. We will provide extra masks in case you need one, and we will have hand sanitizer for all students and staff to use regularly. We invite you to find a full list of our COVID-19 procedures and precautions at www.yatkids.org/policies.
