Program Overview:

The Mount Snow Academy Jumpstart program is a three day per week program designed to provide the “next step” before moving on to the full-time academy program. Regular training occurs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, along with mid-week holiday periods (Christmas/New Years & President’s Week).

Dates: Friday, November 25 - Sunday March 26

There are additional fees and costs associated with the JUMPSTART PROGRAM at MSA, including but not limited to, a season pass at the resort(s) where training is held, membership fees, equipment costs, race/competition/event fees and lift tickets, overnight and extended travel to races/competitions/events, including coach expenses, and optional camps (both in and out of season).

Payment indicates my/our acceptance of the place reserved at MSA for the above-named athlete for the 2022-2023 season. In accordance with this contract, I /we agree to all conditions set forth and will pay the required amounts at the times indicated. The financially responsible party or parties are hereinafter collectively referred to as "I".
Rules and Regulations: MSA reserves the right to discontinue enrollment or refuse re-enrollment of any athlete if we conclude that the actions of the athlete and/or the parents or guardians interfere with such constructive and positive relationships or with the School’s ability to accomplish its educational goals or to fulfill its mission.
MSA makes no representations as to the kind, quality, or appropriateness of its program for any particular athlete. Further, MSA makes no guarantees as to educational or athletic outcomes, offers of re-enrollment, or training group composition. MSA reserves the right to alter its programming, policies, procedures and practices as circumstances may warrant.

Withdrawal or Dismissal: I acknowledge that acceptance of this offer of enrollment constitutes an agreement to pay the full program’s account, composed of both JUMPSTART PROGRAM COST and all related fees and expenses for the athlete. I understand that I am obligated to pay the FULL JUMPSTART PROGRAM COST on or before the due date specified unless this Enrollment Contract is canceled in writing, via certified mail received or an email acknowledged by a representative of the school on or before November 15, 2022. I understand that I am obligated to pay the FULL JUMPSTART PROGRAM COST even if the athlete voluntarily or involuntarily withdraws or is dismissed from MSA for any reason, including but not limited to disciplinary, relocation, medical or other, before the end of MSA’s operating season. I further understand that no portion of such fees paid or outstanding will be refunded or canceled notwithstanding the absence of the athlete. The fact that some fees may be paid in installments does not constitute a fractional contract, and hence, does not affect the obligation to pay all fees specified in this contract. I understand that my financial obligation is unconditional even if my athlete is ill, withdrawn, is absent, or is dismissed from MSA.
To be clear, this agreement is for enrollment for the entire JUMPSTART PROGRAM. I understand that my obligation to pay the fees for the full program is unconditional after acceptance and that no portion of such fees paid or outstanding will be refunded or canceled for any reason whatsoever (including but not limited to illness, absence, withdrawal, or dismissal of the athlete or if MSA programs or activities are canceled for one of the reasons listed in the “Force Majeure” section below). I agree to pay, to the extent permitted by law, MSA’s expenses for collection of program costs, fees and related expenses, including without limitation, attorney’s fees and costs.

If you have not paid in full prior to your child’s start date, and do not have a payment plan arranged with the Business Office, your child cannot participate in any of our programs.

Delinquency: I agree to the policy of MSA that delinquent accounts will prohibit attendance at MSA, along with the completion of grades and/or diplomas, until the account is paid in full.

Force Majeure: MSA’s duties and obligations under this Agreement shall be suspended immediately without notice during all periods that MSA is closed because of force majeure events, including, but not limited to, COVID-19 or similar pandemic, any fire, act of God, hurricane, war, governmental action, act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic or any other event beyond the academy’s control. If such an event occurs, MSA’s duties and obligations in this Agreement will be postponed until such time as MSA, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen. In the event that MSA cannot reopen due to an event under this clause, MSA is under no further obligations under this Agreement. I further agree that any such event described in this chapter does not excuse my financial obligations described in this agreement or entitle me to a refund of tuition or other expenses required by this agreement.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Venue: This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the State of Vermont. The parties agree that the only proper venue for resolution of any disputes under this agreement will be in the state or federal courts located in the State of Vermont.
Enforcement of Contract: If any legal or other action by MSA must be taken to enforce the enterms of this contract, I agree to pay, to the extent permitted by law, MSA’s expenses for enforcement and collection of the tuition, fees, unpaid balances and/or related expenses, including, without limitation, attorney's fees and costs.
I also understand that the athlete will be denied admission in the event that payment is not received prior to the commencement of school for the current year and will not be permitted to remain at MSA in the event that subsequent payments are not received by the due dates.

I have read and understand this program agreement and agree to all of its terms and conditions, including I agree to the indicated payment plan. I understand that I must inform MSA in writing if for any reason payment cannot proceed as follows.
