Are you looking for more games to play with your children?

If so, you could be doing them a world of good.

Playing games with little ones is a fantastic method of boosting cognitive development, introducing creativity, and even strengthening your bond with them. In addition to cognitive growth, game-playing boosts their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. Engaging fully with your children is an excellent way to get to know them while teaching them fun new things.

Which brings us to would-you-rather questions for kids: a wonderful method of thinking, imagining, and debating between two choices. It's exciting, too. Overall, it's a great game for both parents and their children.

Here, we highlight some of the most interesting questions to ask in this awesome free game. Make sure you have your child explain the why behind their answers, too. Have fun!

1. Would you rather have webbed feet or webbed hands?

This question will force your child to think about the way they use their hands and feet.

Would they rather have webbed hands, making everything from writing to holding a fork a little bit harder? Or would they rather have webbed feet—which would be great for swimming, but not for wearing sandals or sneakers?

Ask them to explain why they think one would be harder or easier than the other.

2. Would you rather be the funniest kid in class or the smartest?

This question is fantastic for seeing what's important to your child in terms of traits and characteristics. Would they rather be the next Einstein or the next stand-up comedian? Do they think it's better to be intelligent or make an entire group of people laugh?

Both attributes have their benefits. See which one resonates with your child.

3. Would you rather live in the desert or the snow?

This question will have your child imagining an alternate reality. Perhaps you already live in the heat, and you'll learn your child doesn't like it! Or, maybe you live where it snows often, and you'll find out that your kid isn't a big fan of the cold weather.

Either way, set the question up as if they'd live there for the rest of their lives. Which would they prefer, and why?

4. Would you rather be the president of the US or move to another planet?

This question is an interesting one.

Would your child rather be voted into the presidency or leave Earth altogether? If they choose to move to another planet, which would they prefer — Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, or their own made-up planet?

If they make up their own planet, encourage them to be creative: what are the members of that planet called? What do they look like? What do they eat?

5. Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?

In other words, what's their favorite superpower of choice, and what makes it so special? What advantages does invisibility have over flying, and vise versa?

6. Would you rather eat the same meal every day or have no sense of taste?

Let's say your child loves spaghetti and meatballs — but do they love it enough to eat it for the rest of their lives? Or would they get so tired of the same meal every day they'd beg for no taste buds?

Have them consider the consequences of either option.

7. Would you rather have a pet dinosaur or a pet dragon?

This question is great for getting that imagination going.

Having either a pet dinosaur or a pet dragon would disrupt so many things — and make so many others that much more exciting. Have them imagine how each pet could potentially change their lives — where it'd live, how they'd walk (or ride) it, what it'd eat, etc.

8. Would you rather eat a hamburger in a hotdog bun or a hotdog in a hamburger bun?

This question is more for silly purposes and will hopefully encourage your child to laugh!

It might also get the brain stirring in other ways: would they rather eat a salad with a spoon or have soup with a fork? See how many other strange food combinations you can come up with together!

9. Would you rather live at Disney world or move to another country?

Can they resist a trip to the amusement park if it means living in an exciting, foreign country?

Or would they give up the opportunity for a new environment if it meant they could hang out with their favorite Disney characters every day? We think we know the answer to this one...but maybe we’ll be surprised.

10. Would you rather eat raw lemons or a can of cat food?

One is sour, and the other is, well, gross! This question is a little tougher to answer and might make them hesitate a while longer.

Which would they prefer, and why?

11. Would you rather be the shortest person in the world or the tallest person?

And, most importantly of all, why would being taller be better? Or, what advantages does being shorter have to offer?

See if they can break this question down into the whys behind each trait's benefits and disadvantages.

12. Would you rather eat a live worm or a dead spider?

No one wants to eat either of these things, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with for this question!

13. Would you rather sing every time you spoke or dance every time you walked?

Both have the potential for embarrassment—or a whole lot of fun. Find out if your child is a singer or a dancer with this question.
